The Leg Overs Exercise is a great way to stretch the muscles of your core, your glutes and hamstrings. This will help you to set up and maintain your spine angle correctly, and to store and release energy more efficiently during the golf swing.
The Leg Overs Exercise forms part of the Golf Stability series of innovative and dynamic exercises that will build stability in your joints and core for better consistency and ball-striking.

Steps
- Start by lying on your back with your legs straight and your arms out at your sides on the ground.
- Lift your right leg and sweep it up and across your body to your left hand.
- Return to starting position and repeat on the other side.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions with each leg.
Begin with a small range of motion, and gradually increase with each repetition.
Keep your abdominal muscles engaged and your upper back and shoulders on the ground throughout.
You should feel a stretch through your hamstrings and lower back.
